About the Besks

Kenny was in law enforcement with the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office for ten years. Catherine taught elementary school, and is now staying home with their children, Maizie, Lucy, and Matthew. Through our adoption of Matthew we learned more about the orphan crisis and how so many are at risk of being trafficked. We were horrified. We could see our children’s faces on the ones that have been trafficked. We knew we had to respond in action. Our family will be moved to Thailand in July of 2015, and Kenny joined the child rescue team with ZOE International. Join us in the fight!
